Overview
CNLead (Charge Nurses Evolving and Developing) Program in-person class. In this course, charge nurses will have the opportunity to learn, discuss, and practice leadership skills in the classroom setting. Topics such as conflict management, providing and receiving feedback, leading team members of varying generations and personalities, and resiliency training will be addressed.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify communication tools to utilize as a charge nurse when communicating with staff, patients, and family members.
  2. Demonstrate communication tools that will be effective in the charge nurse role.
  3. Learners will identify 2 elements of the CHW Interprofessional Practice Model and describe how those elements relate to their role as a leader and charge nurse in the organization.
  4. 100% of learners will identify 1 communication tool to apply to their leadership practice.
  5. 80% of learners will have joined or made a profile with Ulliance or CALM application by the end of class.
  6. 100% of learners will identify on dimension of well-being they will focus on to increase their resiliency.
  7. 100% of learners will identify one healthy habit or action to put into practice to support their well-being or the well-being of others.
  8. 30% of learners will lead, or assist, in a unit or system based educational, operational, or quality/clinical improvement project.
  9. 100% of learners will be able to identify their personality type.
  10. 100% of learners will be able to identify their learning style.
