Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define seizure and epilepsy, including the key differential diagnoses
  2. Understand common management strategies for epilepsy
  3. Discuss the evaluation and management of drug-resistant epilepsy and the multidisciplinary approach to treating such condition
  4. Explore the emerging trends and technologies shaping the future of epilepsy care
  5. Compare the uses of the functional MRI, MEG for Tumor and Awake Surgery when treating patients
  6. Discuss treatment for neuro oncology patients using chemo/xrt, including the new idh1 inhibitors
  7. Recognize the benefits in utilizing Lifestyle Medicine in the treatment of stroke and stroke prevention
  8. Understand the value in employing a multidisciplinary approach to the management of stroke patients
  9. Explain the appropriate use of Vivistim VNS Therapy for stroke patients and the benefits of this therapy.
