Fetal Board 2026

This monthly conference is designed to improve multidisciplinary management of newborn babies who have been identified with birth defects. When a fetus is found to have an abnormality at Maternal Fetal Medicine, there is a multidisciplinary process to care for this fetus after its birth. This monthly forum is designed to assure that the best care possible is available to this child when it is delivered at Corewell Health.

1. Improve the coordination of care for the newborn or fetus at Corewell Health
2. Improve the decision for the route and timing of delivery in the high-risk fetus
3. Improve the knowledge of the staff that will be involved in the clinical care of the newborn
4. Improvement of the interpretation of ultrasound imaging and MRI imaging of the at-risk fetus

Corewell Health West Michigan is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Corewell Health West Michigan designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
